ULTIMATE GAMING DESTINATION!

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Columbus City Councilor Bruce Huff, District 3, has announced a two-night Summer Gaming Championship at the Columbus Civic Center on Friday, Aug. 7 and Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026.

Check-in begins at 5 p.m. each evening. Tournament play starts at 6 p.m., with the championship match scheduled for 9:15 p.m. and awards presented at 9:45 p.m.

Games and format

The Summer Gaming Championship is part of a broader tournament series that ran June 25 through Aug. 8, organized in partnership with the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department. Featured games include NBA 2K, Madden NFL, Fortnite, EA Sports College Football and EA Sports FC.
